Sticky notes
Park ideas beside what you’re writing: press Note at the top of a document and type. Sticky notes sit in the margin on wide screens (in a row under the title on phones), add as many as you like, and remove one with its ×. An empty note disappears when you click away.
They aren’t part of the document’s text — they don’t change its version history or count as decisions — but search finds them and they sync to your devices.
Snapshots
When the meaning of a document changes — for example a decision is edited — Thread keeps a snapshot, so earlier decisions stay traceable as Earlier, never silently lost.
Thread Team collaboration is coming soon. To mark a document as checked, outdated or due for review, see Keep notes current.
