One brain. Several clients. Keep the contexts separate.
Orbit Thread is an AI workspace for consultants. You should not have to reload an entire engagement into your head every time you switch projects. Keep each client’s notes, files, voice and decisions in its own Space.

“What did the research team say was blocking rollout?”
Thread retrieves from the selected client Space and keeps the evidence beside the answer.
Separate Client Engagements
“What did the research team say was blocking rollout?”
The main blocker was the security review required before pilot accounts could be provisioned [1].
“Provisioning can start as soon as the security owner signs off; training capacity is no longer the constraint.”
Separate the work. Retrieve the history. Verify the conclusion.
One Space per engagement
Keep notes, PDFs, Word, PowerPoint and Excel files, links, voice and explicit decisions together without mixing client scopes.
Project history, not recent chat
Search the selected Space for the interview, clause or decision that matters, even after weeks away.
Sources stay in the room
Open the supporting note, passage or transcript before presenting an important conclusion.
Use the boundary that fits the engagement.
Keep a sensitive Space on one device, sync permitted content between your devices, or work with compatible local models. Never Share is enforced at the data-policy layer.
Local-first
Capture and search begin in browser storage on this device.
Portable
Export records and available originals, with missing files reported explicitly.
Notes, files and voice
Keep mixed research material beside the client context it belongs to.
Optional model processing
Core capture and lexical search work before you configure a model.
Consultant workflow and privacy
How is retrieval kept inside the selected client Space?
Search and retrieval filter candidates to the selected Space before ranking them, and each item’s privacy setting is applied before anything reaches a model.
Can I inspect the source in a client meeting?
Sourced answer statements include numbered citations. Open one to review the note, document passage or transcript segment Thread used.
Do I need an account or cloud AI?
No. Thread works locally in one browser without an account. Reasoning models are optional; lexical search and capture work without them.
Can a team share client Spaces today?
Thread Team is coming soon. Shared workspaces and roles are not generally available yet, so this page describes the individual product available now.
