# Orbit Thread

> Orbit Thread is a local-first personal knowledge workspace. Notes, documents, links, images and voice start in the browser. Search runs on the device, including offline. Ask cites the note, page or timestamp. AI is off until you choose a local model (LM Studio or Ollama) or your own Anthropic, OpenAI or Google key. Sync is optional and EU-hosted. Shared workspaces are not available yet.

Orbit Thread is made by Infinity Consciousness Europe SIA, Latvia. A 30-day trial needs no credit card. After that, Thread is €10/month or €96/year. If you do not subscribe, the workspace stays readable, searchable and exportable.
